Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, I’ve gone on several different hikes. Without fail, I will find myself in awe of the fact that plant life continuously sprouts from other plant life. Trees grow on trees, and ferns & moss embellish almost every trunk. My favorite of these tag-alongs has to be the mushrooms; thanks to the rain, a variety of unique fungi appear after every storm.
Some of the mushrooms lining the trail are reserved and unassuming, and can be easy to miss.
Regardless of what trail you take, or what flora & fauna you encounter, you’re always in for a treat.
