Spring is here, I can feel it. Everything is starting to feel brighter, fresher. Even if you haven’t felt it yet, this smoothie bowl will get you in the springtime mindset. I first discovered smoothie bowls at my favorite smoothie shack, Kure Juice Bar, and I’ve been craving them ever since. The mixture of a creamy, nutrient-packed smoothie and fresh toppings make for a great start to a spring day.
As with any good smoothie, lots of experimentation goes into finding the blend that is right for you. I recommend using avocado, chia seeds, almond butter, ginger, kale & raw sugar to create a rich green smoothie base.
After blending, I top my smoothie with raspberries, sliced banana, and a blend of toasted nuts, coconut & oats.
